One of my resolutions for the year was to take more photos of people. It's a step away from my usual style but hopefully you won't mind putting up with a few portraits over the coming months!

This slow sync photo of Laura was taken on the first Limerick strobist meetup. It was lit using a 580EXII which was gelled with a CTO (colour temperature orange) gel and diffused through an omnibounce. It was triggered using an STE2 transmitter. You can see that the oringal has an orange cast to it, this was caused by the ambient light of the street lamps and also by the CTO gel on the flash. This cast was corrected in processing as well as come other tweaks.
