An Droichead Beo |

The Living Bridge (An Droichead Beo) is the longest pedestrian bridge in Ireland at 350 metres. It spans the River Shannon, linking the north and south areas of the UL campus. Technique: This image was exposed for 30 seconds in order to soften the clouds and complement the futuristic nature of the bridge. The title of "living bridge" is deserved as the walkway moves quite a bit, therefore this was one of the rare occasions where I used IS (image stabilization) even though I was also using a tripod. |
