• Thanks Glenn! Ha ha! :) It's not a political statement, just trying to make the coat contrast with the water a bit more to make her stand out... perhaps a tricolour would have been more effective..

• Thanks for visiting Gavin. The island that the bridge crosses over to isn't very exciting but it's probably worth a visit nonetheless! (It's a good way to kill time until the sun is setting over the causeway!) Thanks Betsy! I used a levels adjustment layer in photoshop and dragged the slider in from the right until it met the end of the histogram. I then added a bit of contrast using a curves adjustment layer. Let me know if this makes sense, if not I can email you a few screenshots...
